Wedge vs Round - the different era of car design

 V S

Since a few years ago, i started to look back the car design in the past years and somehow i found that cars had a dramatic changes from 20's to modern days. But something i found it quite interesting was the wedge and rounded design. It changed constantly over year and I would like to dig into this interesting thing.

20's

In the 20's, cars has just slowly becoming a popular way of travel in some place, and car design has also just start to develop, so at that time, most of the cars just look like the car in the picture with a large radiator in the front and a boxy cabin.

30's

Most of the car in 1930's still look pretty much the same as before, it just look relatively less edgy and looks more well constructed.

While most of the cars on the road look like twins, some of the car manufacturer has built some cars with radical design that appear to be something comes from other planet in others eyes.

We can see these are kept the basic wheel cover from the mainstream but however has a slick design in the cabin all the way to the end of the car which looks like a swallow-tailed coat at the back.

part 2 will be coming soon .............. :)
